“This was an exciting milestone for the project as it indicates the beginning of the final stages of construction,” said Construction Manager – Rail, Phil Barker.
Trains stopped at Whitfords from 8:00pm Saturday May 31 to 8:30am Sunday 1st June and then again from 8:00pm Sunday
1st June 08 to 8:00am Monday 2nd June.
Replacement buses operated during the period as per normal timetable in lieu of the train service.
“I would like to thank the community for their patience during the work,” said Mr Barker.
