The site allows you to stream audio (Sunset Radio) and watch web movie clips (Sunset TV)  in an embedded media player.  The online image gallery uses Cooliris technology to allow people to click and drag through a floating collection of photos. Articles and media is tagged according to popular keyword search terms, providing a quick and easy way to find frequently hit pages.

One of the most exceptional features of the website is the scrolling events calendar, which allows you to select a highlighted date to reveal a comprehensive gig-guide of what is happening around town. The website also handles subscriptions to Sunset Magazine's extensive mailing list and competition entries to win prizes.
